Nowadays it seems if you are well known throughout the general populace, you must have been involved in a sex scandal.
It seems to be the only way for you to truly leave your mark and be made memorable.
Here's a thought that after discussing with my friend, could use an extra point of view (or 2, or 3, or 4...)
Is that...well...should politicians be allowed to keep their job after being involved in a sex scandal?
I mean, as an adult, video-taping yourself having sex...just seems normal (albeit a bit kinky, but not what we're here to talk about).
Keeping it private, sometimes easier said than done. (speaking of which, how do these things leak anyway? if you made a video that you SHOULD be embarrassed about, wouldn't you delete it or keep it in a place where nobody would ever look?)
Or if you just had plain sex with someone whom you weren't supposed to and the public found out.
Consequentially, people are going to have a distorted image of you (or if you performed really well, maybe a positively distorted one?).
But does it affect the way you run your office?
Does it make you any worse, that as an elected official who is supposed to represent the people, since you had sex (regardless with whom)?
I guess my view is that people elected you because they believe in your ability to make rational decisions that will help affect their lives for the better.
Who you have sex with might as well be your own problem, as I do believe in the separation of personal and business.
What do you think?
Disclaimer: my point of view which i do not impose upon you, so kindly please share yours but do not impose it into me. Thank you!
