i realize that if you don't write things down you'll probably have a tendency to forget them later.
like so many mid-life crisis' all it takes is you lifting up a coffee mug to your lips one day and realizing there are so many things in life you haven't done yet.
so what we should be doing is having a mid-life crisis once a week to avoid a mid-life crisis. make a list of the things you've always wanted to do...and do them. every little random thing or thought or card or words that you've always wanted to have.
life is a temporary state whereas death is permanent. enjoy the time you have, do as much as you can, repeat other people's words although they are cliches if you find them to be true.
i thought of this as i stood in front of an elevator waiting and watching for the double doors to open and not knowing whats behind them. it could be anyone, anything.
life isn't short. its temporary. like a holiday. if you go on a vacation, you're not going to be doing the same stuff you'd be doing back home would you? (maybe some of you would but in that case you are wrong to do so because you might as well have stayed at home but if its what you're already doing then good for you because you enjoy/have to do so. remember, vacations aren't always about leaving the house, we can arguably basically take a vacation whenever we log into facebook. you don't have facebook? discussion for another time)
also, even television (all hail and praise the entertainment invention preceding the internet) albeit a bit paradoxically has placed a showing of "Live" on some of its sports shows. How positive!
